Basal cell and squamous cell cancers are by far the most common cancers of the skin and are strongly related to a person’s sun exposure. It’s very important to detect skin cancer early and treat the area so it does not grow larger and invade nearby tissues and organs. Melanoma is not as common as basal cell & sqaumous cell skin cancers, but almost all forms of skin cancer can be cured in it’s early stages.
